Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies started her acting career at the age of 12 by attending local casting call. She began her acting career when she was just 12 years older. Gillies began appearing in Virgin Mobile commercials. Gillies was a recurring role in The Black Donnellys during three seasons. Gillies has said that she was not permitted to watch the final show in its entirety because her parents thought the show was inappropriate for her in the moment. In 2008 she was cast in minor roles in the show The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. That summer she also starred as Lucy in a Goodspeed production of Jason Robert Brown's brand new musical 13 and her upcoming Victorious co-star, Ariana Grande. In the fall of that identical year, the musical 13 which was the very first Broadway musical that was entirely composed of teens, moved to Broadway. The show featured the popular song "Opportunity," "It Can't Be Real," along with smaller songs like "Hey Kendra,"" "Getting Ready" and many more. Gillies was with the production from January 4 to 2009.
